This is less of a recipe and more of my go-to yogurt bowl formula (which i’m sharing now 😉 Creamy yogurt, lots of fruit, something crunchy, and a little drizzle of something sweet. I make some version of this all the time, especially before school when I want something quick but still really good.
The best part is that there are basically no rules, you can use whatever fruit, granola, nut butter, or toppings you have around ♡
yogurt base:
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt (i like 0%, but use whichever you prefer)
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup, adjust to taste
toppings:
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- handful of berries or other fruit
- 2–3 tbsp granola
- 1 tbsp NATURAL nut butter (preferably a runny one that you can drizzle)
- drizzle of honey or maple syrup
- cinnamon, optional
assemble your yogurt bowl:
- Add the Greek yogurt to a bowl and stir in your honey or maple syrup
- add your sliced banana and fruit
- sprinkle over a generous amount of granola
- drizzle with nut butter and a little extra honey or maple syrup
- add any other toppings you’re feeling that day and eat immediately 🙂
notes:
- yogurt: I like using thiccccc Greek yogurt because it makes the bowl extra creamy, but any yogurt works! If you’re using sweetened yogurt, you probably won’t need the extra honey.
- fruit: use whatever is in season or sitting in your fridge. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, mango, apples, and bananas are all sooooo good.
- granola: this is especially good with homemade granola (recipe coming soon hehe).
- make it chocolatey: add cacao nibs or a few chopped pieces of dark chocolate.
- make it extra filling: add chia pudding, hemp hearts, nuts, or an extra spoonful of nut butter.
- frozen fruit: frozen berries work too! i actually love letting them thaw just a bit so the juices swirl into the yogurt.
hope this makes it into your weekly breakfast rotation!
love,
constance<3
